About Tippi Toes®
Tippi Toes® holds various dance class option for children at school locations and public locations! Our goal at Tippi Toes® is to shine light and bring joy! We begin class with warm-ups and stretching exercises as well as activities that encourage boys and girls to use their imagination. We then introduce technique using dance terms and examples and incorporate our original dance music to further their dance experience. During each class we instruct the children on dances which will be performed at various times throughout the year. We offer different types of classes depending on the age of the dancer.
Toddler & Me dance classes are for children from 18 months to the age of 3 years and is a 30 minute class. Music, movement, balance, and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun and positive manner. This class includes a parent or another loved one in class along with their little dancer. Our teachers will keep the curriculum moving while parents take an active role in encouraging and supporting their little dancer.
Baby Ballet dance classes are for children ages 2-4 years old. It is a wonderful transition between Toddler & Me and Ballet & Jazz class. Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. The dancers do not have their parent or another loved one by their side during the class, so this class is great for children who will be able to participate in class on their own.
Ballet & Jazz Combo dance classes are for ages 3-6 years-old and incorporates dance styles such as ballet and jazz technique while also encouraging self-expression and creativity. High energy music is used throughout the class to get dancers moving, using their imagination, and having fun!
Tippi Pro classes are specifically for children ages 5-9 years of age. This is a great class for the growing dancer in your life! It is a class for dancers ready for a bit of a challenge, while still enjoying the fun and supportive atmosphere of Tippi Toes. More time is spent in class on ballet & jazz technique development and barre exercises but still always in our high energy and encouraging class environment. It is not required to have taken any previous dance class before and all skill sets are welcome.
Hip Hop & Jazz dance classes are created especially for older dancers who are ready for challenge! This class is created specifically for children ages 5-9 years of age. Using popular and current music, dancers will learn choreography quickly along with learning various dance elements. Our version of hip hop/ballet/jazz is extremely tasteful and clean. Our top priority is offering a fun, age-appropriate material!
