Job Summary

Tippi Toes, Inc has offered children’s dance classes since 1999 and has been franchising since 2009. Positioned for significant expansion, Tippi Toes is seeking a Director of Franchise Growth (Franchise Business Consultant) to continue to guide and support franchise owners as they build their businesses in their local communities.

This remote position requires a growth-minded, skilled individual to coach franchise owners to maximize the potential of Tippi Toes’ business model.  Relationship building is paramount with weekly communication with each franchise owner, ensuring the Tippi Toes framework is being successfully applied, as well as excelling in the development of the program saturating the market. This role requires travel to franchise locations, visits to dance classes/franchise locations, coaching calls, and deep knowledge of business operations.

This person will also work with Tippi Toes Headquarters to further develop the most effective experience for franchise owners.

Required Functions

·      Achieves financial and operational results through effective oversight of regional operations programs and initiatives.

·      Visits and provides exemplary business consulting services to Franchise Partners to drive their success.

·      Works as needed with Tippi Toes Home Office regarding R&D, marketing, purchasing, training, and others to launch and achieve targeted results for operations programs and initiatives.

·      Leads all new franchise openings. Facilitates staff orientation and presents information about Tippi Toes history, emphasizing corporate expectations and adherence to operational excellence policies and procedures.

·      Teaches and enforces operational store procedures and policies and compliance with the Operations Manual.

·      Builds leaders; provides continuous leadership to his/her Franchise Partners related to leadership and successful operations management.

·      Launches new programs, initiatives, and/or methods as developed.

·      Represents company operations as needed on various operations, Franchise Advisory Council, R&D, training, information technology, purchasing, or other committees as needed.

Work Experience

·      3+ years of franchise operations experience.

·      5+ years of business operations experience.

Skills and Abilities

·      Strong ability to build relationships, effectively communicate and positively influence Franchisees and others.

·      Strong financial acumen, analysis/problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills.

·      Demonstrated and successful ability to lead, motivate, hold accountable, develop, direct, and achieve target results for Franchise Partners.

·      Demonstrated track record for flexibility and urgency in prioritizing and organizing projects.

·      Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results.

·      Excellent communication (written and oral), organization, and problem-solving skills.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook

Experience/Education Requirements

·      4-year bachelor’s degree – preferred degrees include: Business, Finance, or Marketing/Leadership

·      5 years minimum experience with small business operations and leading teams

·      Experience with franchising preferred

Travel Requirements

·      May be required to travel up to 25% of the time
