website

 Kaylee Hanf

Manager/Instructor

A Midwest girl born and bred, Kaylee spent her childhood in the beautiful Kansas town of Paola. She discovered her love for dance at age four in Leigh’s School of Dance. She whirled on through her young life to Denise’s School of Dance and then Dance Expressions where she flourished into the role of assistant dance instructor. During her time at Pittsburg State studying to receive her Bachelor’s in business, Kaylee continued dancing as a member of the Crimson and Gold Dance Team. She began teaching for Tippi Toes three years ago and quickly received the award for Tippi Toes Teacher of the Year for 2013. She loves having the chance, everyday, to share her love for dance and the strength it builds with a young generation.

Instructor

Jennifer Weiman grew up in Davenport, Iowa where her love for dancing, singing, and performing turned into her lifelong passion. She trained in ballet, tap, and jazz while participating in many community theater musicals and high school music ensembles. She followed her love for music to Wichita State where she received her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance and Masters of Music in Opera Performance. She has sung professionally for many theaters around the country. Now we are lucky enough to have her back in Kansas City singing for the Kansas City Chorale, performing the National Anthem at Royals games, teaching young voices at Music House School of music in Overland Park, and instructing our tiny dancers at Tippi Toes KC. Jen loves encouraging her students  to be themselves and have fun while discovering a great way to stay active and healthy.

Instructor

Lauren grew up in Dallas, Texas. After dabbling in several sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and swimming, she quickly realized that those just weren’t for her…so she tried dance, and it stuck! Lauren danced at a small studio called Melva Smith School of Dance and later tried out for her highschool’s dance/drill team. There was nothing like performing at the halftime shows on the football field under the Friday night lights and competition shows at Disney World. She became the captain of the dance team her senior year and led the team in competing against other dance teams across the state of Texas. Lauren went on to study Early Childhood Education at the University of Arkansas. She is now a First grade teacher at Saint Peter’s Catholic School in Brookside. She is beyond excited to be getting the joy of dance back in her life through teaching Tippi Toes because dance and children are her two favorite things!
