Annual Recitals

Winter Performances & Spring Finale Recitals

Tippi Toes® Dance has two optional recitals during the year for all dancers who participate in our Baby Ballet, Ballet Tap & Jazz, Hip Hop and school dancers.  There will be more information added about each show as details are finalized and the dates approach.  All dancers who wish to participate in the recitals must order and purchase a costume for the performance.  Information about how to purchase and order a costume will be provided.  The costume fee is the only fee for these events; we do not charge tickets, so you can bring as many friends and family members as you’d like to cheer your dancer on!

Rookie Recitals

Rookie Recitals are only for dancers who participate in our Tippi Toes® Dance Studio Toddler & Me dance classes for ages 18 months-3 years old.  This includes our Monday 9am and 5:15pm class, Wednesday 6:00pm class, Thursday 6pm class and the Saturday 9:00am class only.  The costume fee is $40 plus tax and is the only fee to participate.  Rookie Recital performances will take place in May at our Tippi Toes Dance Studio.  Our staff will set up chairs at our studio for their guests to sit in while they perform some of their favorite songs from class for their friends and family.  Moms may still need to dance with their little ones during the performance, but we hope to see growth in every dancer thoughout the year at our May Rookie Recital performance!  The Rookie Recital is helpful to young dancers to prepare them for dancing in class without a family member and performing onstage as they get older and grow with Tippi Toes®!

Costumes

Tippi Toes® teachers will come to class equipped with a measuring tape (and a sample size S costume if available) to measure your dancer.  A costume will be ordered for your dancer once you’ve purchased your dancer’s costume.  After the costumes come in and are sorted, they will be sent home during their Tippi Toes® class.  Dancers of studio classes will get their costumes after class, and dancers of preschool classes will have their costumes sent home in their cubbies, backpacks, left with their teachers or in the school office.  We will send out an email when parents can expect to receive their costume.  Please try on the costume as soon as it’s sent home and contact the office immediately with any sizing issues or questions so we can fix the issue before recital time.  Costumes cannot be reimbursed.  Please contact our office to make costume payments over the phone or via email.  Payments via cash, check or money order can always be mailed to Tippi Toes 5801 S Staples St Suite J Corpus Christi, TX 78413 or dropped in our mail slot at our studio  in an envelope with your dancers name on it.

Parent’s Night Out

Parent’s Night Out events occur on a Friday of each month at our Tippi Toes® Dance Studio.  PNO is one event at Tippi Toes® that was designed for our parents instead of our dancers!  PNO is a night to give our hard working moms and dads a break and a night out on the town or relaxing on the couch at home without having to worries about the kids!  Drop your dancers off at our studio from 6-10pm for only $25 for the first child and $10 per additional siblings, boys & girls ages 3-10 (must be potty-trained).  While they’re there, the kids will watch movies, play games, dance, make crafts, eat pizza & dessert, have a blast and so much more!  Some nights are themed and kids can bring a bag with their name on it with blankets, pillows, toys or any comfort item they’ll need.  Sign your dancer up by the Thursday before each event to attend by contacting our office.

Daddy & Daughter Dances

We have two Daddy & Daughter dances during  February and March.  **Dates & times for 2018 TBA**  Our dances are for ages 3-10 and enrollment for the dances will open after our Winter Recital.  Parent’s can enroll with their teachers or through our office over the phone/email.  Our dances will be held from 6:00-7:30pm at our Tippi Toes Dance Studio and will be Rodeo themed.  Dads & Daughters will get to make magical memories on the dance floor, get their picture taken & printed and complete a picture frame craft for their picture from the dance!  Food, drinks & desserts will be served to each guest in attendance.  Dads will also participate in the Daddy & Daughter pledge & copies of the pledge will be posted online afterwards!  Daddy’s & Daughters only (sorry moms!) & the dance is only $35 per couple & $10 per additional daughter.  Pictures will be posted on “Tippi Toes Corpus Christi’s” FaceBook page afterward, please feel free to like, share and tag yourself in our photos!  Buying tickets to the dance puts your dancers name in a raffle for wonderful Tippi Toes prizes!  Prizes include: a free pair of tights, a pair of tickets to the Mother & Daughter Tea Party, a free month of dance & a 25% princess camp coupon!

Mother & Daughter Tea Parties

Our annual Mother & Daughter Tea Parties are usually held the first few weekends of April.  **Exact dates and times for 2017 TBA** Tea Parties are typically 3:00-4:30pm at our Tippi Toes® Dance Studio.  Our Mother & Daughter Tea Parties are a great way to bring the women in your family closer during an afternoon of fun crafts, activities and more!  Our Mother & Daughter Tea Party is packed full of crafts that mothers & daughters can build and design together.  Daughters will also get to take a picture with mom and get it printed and stuck in a picture frame the daughters create during the Tea.  Tea & pink lemonade, desserts, snacks & treats are served during the Tea Party to all guests.  Activities are set up such as face painting and a fun photo-booth for all the guests! A surprise princess guest always makes an appearance!  Tickets are $45 per mom & daughter couple, $15 per additional daughter & $10 per additional female adult (aunt, cousin, grandmother, etc.).

Princess Camps

Once upon a time in the magical world of Tippi Toes®, special dancers got the chance to spend an entire week with their favorite princesses! The princesses had so much fun with the dancers– they were impressed with their sweet hearts, imaginations, creativeness, beautiful dancing and polite charms; they decided to come back every year for our annual Tippi Toes summer princess camp!

Our Tippi Toes annual Princess Camp is a 4-day, 3-hour camp held from 9am-12pm &  is $200 per dancer. Each day your little dancer will play games, hear special princess stories, make crafts, learn special princess dances, eat snack, have daily princess training and get to do other daily activities with the princesses and their magical friends! Ages 3-7 (dancer’s must be potty trained), event is open to the public– your dancer does not need to be a current member of Tippi Toes to sign up for camp!  We have two sessions held during the summer, enrollment is open online & emails and flyers will be sent out once enrollment for camp is open!

Each day of camp your dancer will begin working towards a special performance held on the last day of camp! During the last hour of the last day of camp, dancers are welcome to invite a family member for a special Tea Party! Dancers will perform some songs they learned from camp that week for their special guests, be awarded with their bag of crafts from the week, receive a special princess dance camp award, drink tea (or lemonade) and eat snack they helped prepare for their families & get the opportunity to take a group picture or individual pictures with all of their favorite princesses from camp that week!

One Day Camp

Our themed one day camps are great for the busy family that can not sign up for a full four day camp! This year we had Moana Day and a Princess’ Pancake and PJs. Both Prince and princesses  joined us from near the palace (Tippi Toes® Dance Studio) for a day dance of dancing, face-painting, arts and crafts and some delicious snacks! One day camps/ Drop and Shops are for dancers 3-10yrs old and cost $40 per dancer and $20 for each additional siblings. 

Birthday Parties

Let Tippi Toes help you celebrate your child’s special day and give her memories to last a lifetime!  We specialize in one of a kind party entertainment and want your child’s day to be the best one ever!  We offer party packages for both our studio parties and our traveling parties.  With a variety of characters to choose from, Tippi Toes® makes each child’s party extra-special!

Studio Parties

All of our party packages for this type of party are held at our spacious Tippi Toes« Dance Studio at 5801 S Staples St Suite J Corpus Christi, TX 78413.  These packages are jam packed with everything your little princess could dream of on her birthday.  For all parties we allow families to drop off decorations beforehand so our staff can begin the set up for you.  All families are welcome to arrive 20 minutes before the party begins.  Additional set up time for families can be added on to your party package.  We will provide children’s tables & chairs, set up decorations, provide entertainment & clean up.  You are welcome to bring in food; we do have a refrigerator to help keep things cold.  All studio parties are 1 1/2 hours unless additional time is added.

****Parties that arrive prior to the 20 minute set up time will be charged the $30 additional set up time fee.

Traveling Parties

Tippi Toes® can come to you!  For our traveling parties, a Princess or Ballerina character will come to you!  We offer a variety of packages to make your princess party the very best!  Traveling party packages below are for a 45 minute party visit from one character, additional add ons are listed below as well.  Parties outside of 20 miles from our studio (5801 S Staples St Corpus Christi TX, 78413) will be charged an additional driving fee.

Character Visit – $60 per hour
One ballerina or princess character of your choice to visit your party.  She can participate in activities, take pictures or open present, but she will not lead dances for the children or bring any supplies such as music and a radio or makeup and face painting.
